Electric Charges

⚛️ What are Electric Charges?

  • Electric charges are tiny particles that carry electricity.
  • They can be positive (protons) or negative (electrons).
  • Electrons are the main movers in electricity. When they flow, we get electric current.

🔄 How Do Electric Charges Work?

  • Imagine a row of marbles in a tube:
    • When you push the first marble, all the marbles move.
    • Similarly, when a voltage (push) is applied, electrons move through the wire.

In a Wire:

  • Wires have free electrons that can move easily.
  • When you connect a battery, its voltage pushes electrons from the negative end to the positive end.
  • This movement of electrons creates an electric current.
